The DWR California Water Page, the main Department of Water Resources Web site and the primary World Wide Web entry point to DWR, is designed and maintained by the Public Affairs Office (PAO).

DWR staff and others wishing to have links to their web information added to the DWR California Water Page should contact Ted Thomas, (916) 653-9712 or refer to the link at the right entitled "News Announcement Procedure".

PAO reviews/approves all DWR Web site proposals prior to their release to the public. An intranet Enterprise Process Guide, maintained by PAO describes this approval process.

PAO also maintains the listing of all DWR websites, webmasters and content managers.

As current chair of the DWR Webmasters Group, PAO maintains an intranet web site for the purpose of sharing information of interest to webmasters. DWR webmasters meet monthly.
